Read-A-Thon

PURPOSE:

To inspire youth (Grades 6-8) to make history within our diverse community by reading and sharing about someone who has made history and an impact on society.

RULES:

​

• Select materials to read and share with the group.

• Each individual will have 3 to 5 minutes to share the meaning and message of what they read. In addition, participants can share a drawing (optional) of what they read and provide a short description.
